12. In case of any ambiguity in interpretation of any of the instructions/ terms/rules/criteria regarding the determination of eligibility/conduct of examinations/registration of candidates/information contained herein, the interpretation of National Board of Examinations will be final and binding.
13. Requests are not entertained for change in date/ examination centre. Candidates are advised not to canvass for or submit such requests.
14. Absentees from the examination will forfeit their examination fee.
15. Result for DNB-PDCET shall be available on the website http://www.pdcet.natboard.edu.in/
16. Candidates MUST bring to the test centre the following documents. Unfair means case shall be registered against the candidates submitting false/ forged documents:

1. Printed copy of the Admit Card with photo pasted on it;. AND
2. Photocopy of the Permanent or Provisional SMC/MCI registration*, to be retained by the test centre; AND
3. Any one of the following authorised photo IDs** (must be original and valid/non-expired):
• PAN Card
• Driving Licence
• Voter ID
• Passport
• Aadhar Card(with photograph)

**The name on photo identification must match the name as shown on Admit Card. If the name has been changed due to events such as marriage, candidate must show the relevant document mentioned below at the time of the exam:.
• Marriage Certificate
• Divorce Decree
• Legal Name Change Document

The examination test centre staff on duty is authorized to verify the identity of candidates and may take steps to verify and record the identity of candidates. Candidates are required to extend requisite cooperation.
17. Candidates should ensure before applying for the registration that their MBBS and post graduate diploma qualification is recognized as per provisions of Indian Medical Council Act. If it is found at any time that MBBS or post graduate diploma qualification is not recognized, the candidature/result shall be cancelled/ deemed to be cancelled.
18. Admission to the Secondary DNB course will be done only through Centralized counseling conducted by National Board of Examinations as per prescribed guidelines. All the candidates who appear in the above examination will be given a merit position (rank) based on the descending order of the marks obtained by them in the above examination. The merit list shall be published specialty wise (merit list for DGO, DMRD, DMRT, DORTHO, DOMS, DLO, DA, DVD, DPM, DCH, DNM, DTCD, DPMR and DCP shall be published separately).
Candidates having a recognized 2 years Diploma Qualification in any specialty and fulfill the eligibility criteria as per the Information Bulletin can apply for DNB Post Diploma Emergency Medicine.
A separate merit list shall be prepared for candidates who have opted for Emergency Medicine during online registration processes and allotment of the seats shall be done through centralized merit based counseling.
Candidates who have opted for DNB Post Diploma Emergency Medicine Course during online registration shall also be eligible to apply for DNB Post Diploma Courses in their respective specialty.
Candidates who have not opted for Emergency Medicine during this online registration shall not be eligible to opt for / participate in DNB Emergency Medicine Counseling.
Candidates declared qualified in the PDCET Examination will be asked to participate in the centralized counseling in order of their Specialty specific merit and will be able to opt for NBE accredited institution/hospital/medical college of their choice as per seat availability at their merit.
